The New Zealand Embassy in Seoul is looking for a Team Administrator with prior experience in financial administration and office administration to join the New Zealand Embassy team in Seoul, South Korea.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for the sound, accurate, and transparent management of the Embassy’s financial matters. You will need to have high ethical and professional standards, and integrity.
You will also need to be a strong team player and be required to support the wider administration team, with responsibility as back-up property officer and receptionist, to contribute to the overall successful running of the Embassy.

[About the role]
The Team Administrator (Finance and Administration) is responsible for providing financial administration
to help ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Embassy.
This includes ensuring accurate, transparent and timely accounting and financial transactions, which comply fully
with Ministry guidelines and ensuring prompt and accurate inputs into annual budget, BU and cashflow exercises.
The position involves being the back-up for property duties and receptionist duties as well,
in support of the wider team.
The starting salary range for this position is between KRW 32,773,000 and KRW 44,340,000 per annum,
with position in the range dependent on skills and experience.
The ideal candidate will be available to commence duties in October 2020, or as soon as practicable.
The successful applicant will be employed on local terms and conditions
and must have the right to work in South Korea.
Obtaining and maintaining an appropriate working visa is the responsibility of the applicant and
any offer of employment is subject to this. In addition relocation to Seoul, if required, is to be undertaken
at the expense of the applicant.
[Who are we looking for?]
· A candidate who has one or two years’ experience in a business administration role with a focus on financial management and reporting.
· A candidate who has demonstrated experience of finance functions and processes in an office environment. Experience with Navision is a plus.
